#ComeTogether: A song for Madiba
Updated | By Stacey and J Sbu
Stacey, J Sbu, and Darren Maule came together for Mandela Day this year to record an original song for Madiba.
The trio did this in the space of just a week, an exceptional achievement, bearing in mind that none of them are recording artists.
Stacey, J Sbu, and Darren Maule did this with the goal to donate all proceeds to the Big Favour, in order to help make a difference not only just on Mandela Day, but every day!
Listen to the incredible song below:
The song was launched at an exciting virtual event on the 18th of July.

Some of South Africa's biggest artist's added their voices and support to the event. Mi Casa and Holly Rey gave attendees an exclusive showcase of their latest singles.
I am always so excited to work with East Coast Radio because they support local music and artists. It’s an honour to be performing for an event that pays tribute to our hero. With lockdown and so much going on right now it’s a pleasure to be bringing joy through music- Holly Rey
It was an honour to be apart of this event and to play our part and come together to raise some money and just spread some love and we’re excited to share our new music with everyone- J Something
The virtual event was such a beautiful display of the spirit of Ubuntu.

J Sbu, being a seasoned DJ, laid the beat. Stacey, who retired her vocals back in primary school, showed off her vocal range and love for music as the lead vocalist on the song, while Darren Maule just needed to be in on the fun and did some harmonising.
Such a tune! Well done, team.
