WhatsApp announce interesting new feature

Looks like WhatsApp is once again taking some inspiration from its competitors...
When you think of Snapchat and it's very iconic features, there is definitely one that stands out.

The one thing that made Snapchat really popular was that you could send stories and they would completely disappear after they were read.
Now WhatsApp has introduced their new disappearing messages feature, which is essentially the same thing.

How will it work?
You will be able to send out messages that will disappear on the app after you enable the feature.

Messages sent to a group or individual will vanish after seven days and will not affect any of your previous messages sent or received up until this point.
In an individual chat, any user can enable and disable the feature and in groups, only the admin will be able to adjust settings.

There are a lot of different details when it comes to forwarding messages and quoting disappearing messages, but you can read more about that in the WhatsApp FAQ section.
Although it has been a rumour for some time, the new feature has been confirmed and will be rolled out soon, but no official date has been given.
