A good mix of positivity, gratitude, and leaving on a good note.
Even though there is this infamous saying going around that jobs are hard to come by, there is also a remarkable amount of jobs that are being advertised.
And out of fear, there are many who don't make the leap to their next chapters.
But for those who want to pursue another path, there is an amicable way to exit from your current job without the drama.
A video that received over 3.8-million views on TikTok was a good indicator that there are many people in South Africa who are ready to move on to their next chapters.
The video was posted by a CV writing service. They shared an example of a resignation letter that was professional, respectful, and concise.
Finding the right words to share with your current employer, whether you are on good terms or not, can be tricky. For a range of reasons, but this template impressed Mzansi and their response to it was all the proof we needed.
Have a look at the letter below, courtesy of TikTok.

Of course, it wouldn't be a true Mzansi response without some sarcasm and spice.

Cjay Tony: "how about you call your employer on phone and read the resignation letter to him/her on phone isn't that an innovative way of resigning without stress"
Many people saw this post as a sign for them to resign, and one user even shared that they knew a guy who sent his resignation over WhatsApp.
