Meet teacher Ameer, a real-life Iron Man made of metal
Doctors used metal to reinforce his skeleton but could not find a cure for his condition.
Superheroes are generally characters that are created to provide people with a sense of hope.
And, of course, the victory of good over evil, the cape, and the special super powers can all leave us feeling protected and in awe.
But the truth is that the real superheroes don't always wear capes nor do they have special superhuman powers after being bitten by a spider.
Or do they?
We have revelled in the superhuman powers that Iron Man possessed after creating a suit that helped him stay alive.
But little did we know that there is actually a person, a man from Jerusalem, who has similarities to Iron Man.
Ameer Abu Laban was born with a bone disease. This condition means that his bones break very easily.
So, in an effort to help him, doctors put metal all over his body to strengthen his skeleton.
He is said to have around 4kg of metal all over his body, from his hips to his legs and his knees.
Although doctors informed him that there was no cure for his condition, he did not just give up.
He takes his profession and love for teaching to another level and has pushed so much harder to teach as many kids as he could.

His teaching drives him and his go-getter attitude has been recognised by the royal families in Jordan, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
Ameer has said firmly that teaching gives meaning to life and seeing his students happy brings him joy.
