Makhadzi has taken to Twitter to air her grievances with Rita Dee.
She claimed in her tweet that she had not received any form of payment from her debut album 'Matorokisi'.

But Rita has decided she won't take this lying down and has hit back at her claims by filing a defamation of character lawsuit against the singer.
Rita also claims that she has also not received any payment for the YouTube videos (which had close to 20 million views before she deleted them).

She also said that Makhadzi should speak to Open Mic Productions about her album royalties, but she confirmed that she had deleted the videos after she sent threats on Facebook.
It seems like the whole story is a bit of a mess, but luckily Makhadzi has now also received legal counsel.
