Updated | By Vic Naidoo
Today marks the 10th anniversary of a moment that
many South Africans will never forget as Bafana Bafana lit up the World Cup
stage.
The memory of sensational winger Siphiwe Tshabalala’s silky run and thunderbolt of a goal is still fresh in the mind of many football lovers.
Not only in South Africa, Africa but also around the world.
A decade later, as we mark the 10th anniversary of that euphoric occasion, the attacking talisman says the goal will forever be etched in his mind.
Fans have also taken to social media to mark the occasion with some even calling for a statue of Shabba to be erected at the FNB stadium to mark the milestone.

Like on a serious note, today must be declared a Siphiwe Tshabalala day. It should be included in the calender and made a holiday. Or kanjani? #shabbaday pic.twitter.com/BQGjo08FyB
