As we approach the last few days of the first month of 2022, we thought it was important to address this special day. It not only mirrors what we all know of Vic Naidoo, but it also motivates us.
If anything, we know that Vic Naidoo is someone who isn't afraid to share his true feelings. His honesty is what sets him apart and is one of his shining qualities.
Very often we are socialised into believing that honesty and, more specifically, speaking up is a bad quality. But today is a special day, a day that was created to remind us that we have been given unique voices and that we must choose to use them.
Today is, Speak up and Succeed Day. We celebrate the day to observe the importance of the ability to speak up in a public setting. It is only by speaking up that others can take notice of who we are and our ideas. It can change people’s minds and motivate others. (National Today)
Think of it this way, if you don't speak up and ask for what it is you want, or maybe it's about sharing your ideas or your opinions, then there's no way you can complain. If you want change, you have to act...
