We know all experiments start somewhere, but this young man took his creativity to scary heights. Twelve-year-old Rhiley Morrison ingested 54 magnets to test if he would become magnetic.
According to Ladbible, he swallowed the magnets over two rounds to see if they would stick to his stomach and what they would look like when they pass through him.

After a few days, Rhiley became concerned after the magnets did not leave his body and alerted his mother. It's safe to say this mother was freaked out! Rhiley was taken to hospital, where he had to undergo surgery to have the magnets removed.
There were fears that the magnets would burn through Rhiley's vital organs.

According to his mother, Rhiley is "into science and experiments."
The young man is now on the road to recovery, and his mother has warned that her son came out lucky, but this may not be the case for everyone - so please do not try this at home!
