Nandi Madida gets a special shout-out from Taraji P Henson

The South African singer and actress has received more praise after starring in Beyoncé's 'Black Is King'.
'Black Is King' featured some of the biggest local names that South Africa has to offer.

Beyoncé combined the talents of Moonchild Sanelly, Busiswa, Connie Chiume, Warren Masemole, Lindi Mlaba, and Nandi Madida.
Madida plays the role of Nala in the visual album alongside other stars, including Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams, and Naomi Campbell.
The album, which was produced and co-directed by Beyoncé, was another visual companion to 'The Lion King: The Gift', which was released in 2019.

Madida recently celebrated her SAMA Best Collaboration win with rapper KO for their hit single, 'Say U Will', and took to Instagram on Thursday to post a picture with her award.
She only recently received the award because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the awards ceremony taking place virtually.

In the video, she thanks her fans while also promoting her upcoming single, 'Organic', which will be dropping on the 18th of September.

While many have congratulated the star on achieving this major milestone, one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, Taraji P Henson, also jumped on the bandwagon.

Taraji is probably best known for portraying the role of the iconic Loretha 'Cookie' Lyon in the series 'Empire', and she is also an Academy Award-nominated actress.
Henson wrote to Madida saying, "CONGRATS BEAUTIFUL!!! Saw you in #BlackIsKing."
Once again, South African talent is getting the recognition it deserves!
