KZN man says: "I didn't know my daughters were adopted"

A man from KwaNgcolosi, Hillcrest, who is the father of two girls, has come to the realisation that his daughters have been adopted by a foreign couple.

His daughters, aged six and eight, were adopted by a couple from the Netherlands by order of the Camperdown Children's Court in 2014.
After their mother had passed away in 2008, they had been living with their great-grandmother until she also died.
Naturally, the 37-year-old father now wants to fight to get his children back and be a part of their lives, but is facing many obstacles.

This includes having the option to file for a review application at the high court, but without the funds for the proceeding, he is unable to do so.
He has also had issues with paying child support for his children while they were under their great-grandmother's care, but was able to visit them from time to time.

His children were eventually put up for adoption following claims that they were living in terrible conditions, did not attend school, and were very neglected.
The maternal family did not wish to take care of the girls and on all documentation stated that the father's identity was "unknown".
The man claims that the process was manipulated and is taking legal action to make sure his daughters are returned to him.
