Sinead O'Connor shares 'suicide note' on Facebook
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Fans are very concerned about Sinead after sharing this
suicide note on her social media page.
The 'Nothing Compares 2 U' singer had her fans very worried after revealing she had taken an 'overdose' in a hotel in Ireland on her Facebook page.
Police rushed to the hotel and confirmed that she has been found and is given medical assistance.
Fans posted more than 1,000 messages of support urging her to 'keep fighting.'
In her worrying Facebook message, the 48-year-old wrote:
‘There is only so much any woman can be expected to bear.
I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name.
If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out. I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known.
I'm such a rotten horrible mother and person, that I've been alone. Howling crying for weeks.'
I can't imagine being so lonely and low that I would take to social media to announce that I had taken an overdose in a hotel under a fake name.
Suicide is such a cruel way to go for those that survive it.
The 100s of unanswered questions, the what ifs.....
This is such a sad call for help, I can only hope that her children collect around her and try and show her the light.
