Mother videos herself breastfeeding son in public

Ana Garcia, a 37-year-old mother of one from Spain, has come into the spotlight after she posted videos of her breastfeeding her son in public with the hope of normalising the practice. Ana’s YouTube channel, called ‘MamaGarciaVlog’, already has a whopping 69-million views.

Responses over her videos have been very mixed. On the one hand, people have thanked her for being so brave and for wanting to change perceptions of nursing in public. However, some men have her videos confused with pornography, which clearly isn’t the case.

My first thought when I saw this was that my twins are the same age as her little son and I can't imagine having a 15-20kg human feeding off my body. In saying that I really battled to breastfeed my babies so I always admired women that did it with such ease.

I also wonder how this boy is going to react in the years to come when he is older and there are videos of him being breastfed at four floating around the internet.
