Just because school is out, it does not mean learning has to stop, and that does not mean that the holiday fun has to be compromised either.
Event 1
Disney On Ice is back! Enter a world where adventure is waiting at Disney On Ice presents Dream Big.
Join the Disney Princesses as they learn that courage leads the way. Then watch Anna, Elsa, and Olaf from Disney’s Frozen discover that true love is the greatest magic of all!
The shows take place at Durban’s ICC from the 4th to the 8th of July. Moms and dads, you can purchase tickets for your little ones at Computicket. For more information visit the Disney On Ice Facebook page.
Event 2
BFG, the perfect family fair, returns just in time for the school holidays this July!
Following the success of last year’s James and the Giant Peach, Greg King returns to direct this enchanting reimagining of Roald Dahl’s delightful children’s classic about the adventures of a big friendly giant (BFG) and Sophie, a little orphan he befriends. Featuring quirky and inventive puppetry and an all-star local cast, this is ideal fare for the July holidays.
BFG takes place from the 21 June to 8 July. Tickets are available at Computicket.
Event 3
Wildlife warriors winter holiday club at The Durban Botanical Gardens
The centre for the rehabilitation of wildlife warriors is hosting a winter holiday club for the little ones. This educational experience includes various activities such as a snake talks and a demonstration, educational programs, biodiversity walks etc.
The holiday club starts on the 25th June and runs until the 17th of July.

Event 4
An outing at the Duck ‘n Deck animal farm in Hillcrest.
The Duck ‘n Deck makes a nice outing for young children and is FUN for moms and dads who don’t want the hassle of cleaning up the mess.
Let the kids enjoy interacting with some of the animals and feeding them.
