Year In Review: KZN's heartbreak for Hillcrest man

A tragic multiple vehicle accident on the N3 left 10 individuals seriously injured. One of those victims was a Hillcrest resident, whose story was shared with Stacey and J Sbu.

The girlfriend of one of the victims of the accident, Kayla Rix, reached out to Stacey and J Sbu to ask that they request the rest of KZN to offer up prayers for Mike, her 32-year-old boyfriend.

Stacey and J Sbu were so moved by this story that they obliged the request and in true KZN style, the greater community offered up their words of support.
He may not be awake, but I know without a doubt that he knows we’re there! Prayers, thoughts, vibes and everything else positive is so appreciated because we have no doubt that it’s working! Unfortunately, within a week of the tragic accident, Stacey and J Sbu had to give KZN the very sad news that Mike Van Rooyen had sadly passed away.
