Professional scam artist, Anna Delvey, swindling rich members of high society... again

Anna “Delvey” Sorokin is a sneaky opportunist who fooled the world once, went to jail, and is back at it again.

Her rise to fame in high society came at a time when her tom-foolery was accepted, but once she was caught, the whole world knew her name (for all the wrong reasons).

The Netflix special called, 'Inventing Anna', documenting her escapades was just the beginning. After Anna "did her time", she is back at it again.

At the moment, this ex-convict landed her own unscripted reality series, 'Delvey’s Dinner Club', set to be filmed inside her New York East Village apartment where she’s serving house arrest.

Anna, who was released from ICE in October 2022, wants to tell her story in the new show. 

But will the world excuse her for the grand larceny in 2019, as well as multiple other financial crimes, for stealing more than $200,000 from both investors and friends? Stay tuned to find out...

Running parallel to the 'Tinder Swindler', 'Inventing Anna' is a show made with award-winning television creator Shonda Rhimes from 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'How to Get Away with Murder' fame. 

The story centres around Anna Delvey, the con artist pen name of Anna Sorokin (Julia Garner), a middle-class Russian immigrant who successfully scammed her way into the New York City social elite by pretending to be a rich German heiress.

A lot of details are magnified or amalgamated to make for a better story, and the choices fit the exaggerated lifestyle and crimes of Anna Delvey aka Anna Sorokin.

The developing relationship between the investigative journalist and Anna Delvey provide a contrast between the two lifestyles and help us understand who 'The Devil that Wears Anna' really is.
