This couple has taken it to a whole new level when they revealed that they actually live in separate apartments in New York and that it has done wonders for their relationship.

The duo have been married for seven years but have chosen to live apart. Everyone needs their own space and time to themselves but do you really need your own whole apartment?

Sana and Adnan Akhand got married in their twenties and quickly fell into a rut, they told Insider.
They got married young due to family pressure, this caused quite a few issues that they did not foresee.
"From the moment we had our first kiss to the moment we were married, it was a year and three months. In our culture (South Asian) , if you're out of college, next step is marriage."
We asked the Drive team what their thoughts are on this story...
Stacey mentioned how she doesn't really think it's the worst idea. As someone who lives alone, she's used to it. She understands how it's not the most conventional or feasible thing, but the idea of having somewhere to be on your own, focus and regroup isn't the most insane concept.
"If you have the budget and can make it work, why not?" says Stacey Norman.

J Sbu mentioned that he had his reservations. Since J Sbu has a child, it would complicate things and affect the parental relationship he has with his son.
Children need as much stability as possible.
However, J Sbu says: "If a child isn't a factor in the decision being apart could be good as it would reignite the love for each other."
