A mom of a 13-month-old girl is being slammed on social media after she shared her meal prep for her child.
When it came time for Grace Walters to start introducing solid foods for her daughter, she decided to opt for comforting African and Caribbean-inspired recipes.

Walters grew up in the Congo and recently moved to the city that never sleeps, New York, for work. She misses her home country and has a love for the culinary field.

Proud of her traditional home recipes, 31-year-old Walters took to social media to share the new recipes she had been trying out. She never expected the intense backlash she would receive thereafter.
Her social media was filled with outrage from moms who called her out.
As the hate escalated online, Walters decided to defend herself and set the record straight for "those who are quick to judge other cultures", according to her.
The hateful comments ranged from "Who would feed their kid such disgusting looking food" to "I’m calling CPS. Who feeds [their] child that".
In a video shared on her TikTok, Walters shared the following:
It hurt my feelings a lot in the beginning, but then I realized that people were just looking for something to be mad about- Grace Walters
So, what does Grace feed her daughter?

Luckily for the mom of one, a few people did show up in defence of her and called out the trolls for looking for any excuse to shame a mom.
This is definitely one of those times when we all need to remember the other golden rule we learned in school: “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all".
