American rapper Kanye West has been accused of xenophobia following his latest comments about South African comedian Trevor Noah

'The Daily Show' host has been in Kanye's firing line for a while now, but this time social media users think the 'Jesus Walks' hitmaker has gone too far.

Kanye took a swipe at Trevor and Kim Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson, during a recent interview with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on the 'Drink Champs' podcast.

"The 78 media outlets that called me an abuser when I was trying to get that heroin addict away from my kids that was tattooing my kids' names on him - Skeet, Pete Davidson.... you know what I am saying... Trevor Noah [is] not even from America, he just looks black. Gonna say, ‘Yo, Kim it’s gonna get dangerous.’ So he's putting all that, 'He crazy, he's so OJ," the 45-year-old rapper said.

Trevor weighed in on Kanye's constant social media attacks on Kim and Pete earlier this year. The 38-year-old comedian described Kanye's behaviour as harassment.

Trevor seems to be back in Kanye's firing line after recent comments he made on 'The Daily Show'. Kanye was accused of being anti-Semitic after he said he would "death con 3 on Jewish people".

Kanye is believed to be referencing the military term "DEFCON 3" - which is an alert system used to indicate the US military's state of readiness.

Trevor called Kanye out for his remarks.

"I don’t even know where to begin with this sh*t. I mean, promoting anti-Semitism to your 50-million followers? I'm not even joking about it. Threatening to go death con 3 on people, which by the way I know this is not the point, but that’s not how you say it. I know it’s not the main issue. I know that but it’s Defcon 3. All right, not death con 3. Death con sounds like a trade show where they unveil all the latest coffins or something," the 38-year-old said.

Kanye is unfazed by Twitter and Instagram temporarily blocking his account. The rapper just bought a controversial free-speech platform

Parler announced on Monday that it has entered into an agreement with Kanye to purchase the app. The app was removed from Apple and Google Play following comments shared about the U.S. Capitol riots in 2021. The posts allegedly encouraged "ongoing violence in the US".

Parler has since been added back on the platforms.

Social media users have accused Kanye of being xenophobic following his rant about Trevor. Some have even called him confused as his own children - North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm - are mixed race.

"Kanye West's children are black but Trevor Noah yena looks black," one Twitter user wrote.
