This week we are talking about birthday gifts that come with conditions...
The confession that Stacey came across this week reads: "For my birthday, my husband bought me a brand-new car, and I was beyond excited. However, now I wish he didn’t get it for me because whenever we fight, he tells me to leave his car. And each time his mother has plans, he tells me to drive her around, forgetting that I also have my plans. Am I wrong if I return it back?"
That's a tough situation to be in, especially because when you give someone a birthday gift, it shouldn't come with conditions.
Over and above that, it is never right to ask for a gift back when you get into an argument with a loved one.
