AKA's landlord clashes with the Forbes family over furniture
Some unfortunate drama is reportedly taking place between AKA's family and his landlord.
In recent news, there has been conflict between the Forbes family and AKA's old landlord.
Sunday World reports that slain musician AKA’s furniture has reportedly been removed from his R4-million Bryanston home despite months of the rent already being paid up in advance.
According to the publication, this came after his landlord, Nthsimane Mekoa, terminated the lease agreement he had with the rapper shortly after his passing.
A close-friend shares with The South African that, allegedly, AKA had paid his rent in advance until September 2023, but his landlord told the Forbes family to remove his furniture as he had new tenants. His furniture is reportedly now in storage as the family removed it without protesting.

However, Mekoa has denied claims to news publications that he kicked AKA out or had any disagreement with his family.
He also said that it is not true that the musician had paid his rent in advance. Mekoa further said that he cannot reveal information about the lease agreement as it is private matter between him and the slain artist.
