Watch: Lion runs for cover after 'chew toy' explodes!

Animals will chew on just about anything. However, it's safe to say that after this lion's experience with a tyre exploding in his face, he'll think twice before poking his head where he shouldn't. Ouch!

According to Times Live, a lion got the fright of its life when the tyre it was chewing on exploded. A family was on their way to breakfast at Tshokwane picnic spot in the Kruger National Park when their journey came to a standstill after they encountered a pride of lions on the road.

This footage shows that the king of the jungle also has fears and one of those fears is a loud bang that comes from an unsuspecting 'chew toy'.
