Toddler dies after being left in police car

A three-year-old girl has reportedly died after being left in her mom's patrol car for four hours in Mississippi, MSN reports.
The mom, Cassie Barker, reportedly knocked off at 6am on Friday, but went to visit her male colleague, leaving the child unattended in the car for hours.
According to Police Crime, police officers found the toddler in the car, with the engine running and air con on. She later died on Friday at the hospital.
The two officers have reportedly been put on paid leave while the matter is investigated. The mother is reportedly in hospital because she is traumatized.
