Freddie Mercury once said: "I won't be a rock star. I will be a legend." And indeed he is, so much so, 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was made.
The movie explores the dynamics of the band 'Queen' and the extraordinary life of their lead singer, Freddie Mercury. One of the directors is the award-winning actor, Robert De Niro.
Freddie defied stereotypes, created trends, and will forever be remembered for his legendary music. It follows the life-spiralling incidents from his break-up with the band and launching his solo career. But for one last time, the band delivers their all in one concert, at the same time Freddie battles his diagnosis with AIDS.
The premiere hits South African screens on 29 November and Ster Kinekor is giving away tickets to watch it! All you have to do is SMS 'Queen' and 'Your Name' to 33116, at a cost of R1.50. T's and C's Apply.
