Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Rabada grabbed the headlines when he dismantled the Australians in the U-19 World Cup. We catch up with him on the #HotSeat:
He is a lanky right-arm fast bowler , who constantly hits 140kph, picked up 6/25 and took South Africa to the final of the tournament. He ended the competition as the highest wicket-taker for his team.
Fast forward 3 years later KG is now one of the best bowlers in world cricket!
He is the youngest South African player to get a 10 wicket haul and has the second best ODI figures on debut. His debut for South Africa was in November 2014 against Australia T20 with Glenn Maxwell being his first international wicket.
He was recently named SA Cricketer of the year at annual CSA awards walking away with 6 awards becoming the 1st player to do so.
He has already represented SA in a world cup where he led the attack and he is only just 21 years old.
The Proteas were in town for the 1st of two Tests against New Zealand at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead and with open arms he accepted the daunting challenge of taking on the feared #hotseat.
