'Friends: The Reunion': The one with the DKS Review
What everyone expected to be a new season was actually an interview with all the actors of the dearly loved comedy series. The team share their thoughts.
The sensational TV series Friends had a special airing on Sunday evening in SA, 17 years after the show's finale.
The original cast of the series came together and also had a few fan favourites joining them for this special episode.

The main cast: Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Courteney Cox (Monica), David Schwimmer (Ross), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), and Matthew Perry (Chandler) all came together for the show... looking a lot older.
Fan favourites like Tom Selleck (who played Richard on the show), Maggie Wheeler (Janice), and James Michael Tyler (Gunther) also made short appearances.

The show is definitely Darren and Keri's favourite TV series as they screamed a few weeks back when it was shared that there would be a returning version of the series. The same sentiment is shared by millions of viewers and this was evident in this special reunion episode. There were interviews with different people from different parts of the world, who shared how the show helped them deal with mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and heartbreak, among other things.

Special cameo appearances by Lady Gaga, Reese Witherspoon, David Beckham, and Justin Bieber gave the reunion a different edge. Phoebe, who was seen to be the “odd” one of the group, sang a Smelly Cat duet with the award-winning Lady Gaga in this episode. Lady Gaga also thanks her for being that character for people who felt they were different in society.

The special episode also showed how the cast were more than just cast members but family. BTS footage is shared showcasing how close they were to each other.
This episode might not have been an entire season of wholesome comedy, but it definitely did what it had to do because everyone is still talking about it and its beautiful moments.
