It's no secret that Darren is the coolest single dad around. He has publicly admitted he is ready for a relationship, but not with just anyone, he wants actress Charlize Theron to be his better half.

If you don't know by now, Charlize Theron broke up with her boyfriend, Sean Penn, in 2015. She has recently openly admitted that she is still single and very much available to date.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said: "Somebody just needs to grow a pair and step up. I'm shockingly available...I've made it very clear."
Before her relationship with Penn, she dated Stuart Townsend from 2002 until 2010. The two met on the set of Trapped. They even have homes in Los Angeles and Ireland together.
After hearing this, and much convincing from Keri and Sky, Darren took it upon himself to ask her out.
Darren is not only a 'cool dad', but he is also a sensible, handsome, and talented man, who happens to be an absolute gentleman.
