Black Coffee has become an internationally acclaimed DJ, but an accident that happened 26-years-ago almost destroyed his career.

People and fans have always wondered what happened to the DJ's arm that he covers under his clothes.
Black Coffee has finally come out to tell the story of what happened, that almost destroyed his career.
He was involved in an accident the same day Nelson Mandela was released from prison. He described it as the day the country's life long dream came true, and his almost shattered.

"I used to despise this day, every year it would depress me. But I have overcome the challenges and learnt so much about myself. Now I celebrate this day because it changed my life", he told OKMzansi.
