This comes after the International Olympic Committee came to the decision to add the sport to the 2024 Olympic Games, which is set to take place in Paris, France.

After incorporating the sport at the Youth Olympics in Argentina in 2018 for a trial run, it was a success and so will also be used to hopefully attract a younger audience.

The venue for the 2024 breakdancing Olympic competition has already be determined and it will be taking place in a downtown area in Paris, along with sport climbing and 3v3 basketball.

According to an Olympic programme commission report, around one million people partake in breakdancing and the 2019 Red Bull BC One World Final had more than 50-million viewers.

Well, we're happy to see the Olympic committee finally catching up and making space for an even wider variety of sports!
