"Loadshedding!" When you're in the middle of baking...
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A phrase that will haunt us forever...
By now, there's not much more we can say about loadshedding and the huge inconvenience it is for our country.
Not only in the most obvious ways, but in the way it has impacted the cost of everything.
However, being the resilient nation that we are, we have turned out attention toward the range of products on offer that make our lives somewhat more bearable, instead of continuously complaining.

It is, however, still a shocker for us sometimes when we get loadshedding.
Because sometimes when the stages change, we are busy with life and only find out when the lights go off.
A video that we recently came across on TikTok reminded us of this harsh reality in the most humourous of ways.
Just as we didn't want our kids to remember the pandemic and the aftermath of COVID-19 - but that was all unavoidable - sadly they are also aware of the dreaded term 'loadshedding'.
This video reminded us that we should also adopt a light-hearted way of welcoming loadshedding.
