LISTEN: Mommy Makeover risks – Carol speaks to JoJo’s surgeon
Updated | By Rory Petzer
In episode four of ‘The Carol Ofori Podcast’ Carol
speaks to JoJo Robinson’s plastic surgeon, about ‘mommy makeovers’.
Patients need to be well informed and have a good understanding as to the potential problems that can occur.- Dr Paul McGarr
In an earlier episode of the ‘Carol Ofori Podcast’, Carol spoke to reality TV star JoJo Robinson about the numerous mommy makeover procedures she’s had.
JoJo held nothing back and told us everything about pretty much every single procedure. Carol also asked JoJo if it was all worth it, and if you’d like to know what she said, listen to episode two of the ‘Carol Ofori Podcast’!
The response to that episode was so enormous that Carol simply had to sit down with JoJo’s surgeon, Dr Paul McGarr, who's a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 20 years' experience.
Dr McGarr speaks openly about the risks involved and also how to best mitigate them, the most popular procedures requested, and why we’re seeing an increase in women and men requesting cosmetic procedures.
Dr McGarr tells us about the reasons he often chooses to turn people away. And if you’re wondering if you’d be eligible, Dr McGarr also lists the basic prerequisites for anyone hoping to have a ‘mommy makeover’.
After listening to this conversation, you’ll be equipped to not only decide if you’re ready for a ‘mommy makeover’ but also to spot one a mile away!
What does a divorce cost?
Meanwhile, in episode three of ‘The Carol Ofori Podcast’, Carol Ofori sat down with Benita Ardenbaum, who is the Founder and Director of an all-woman legal firm in Durban, Benita Ardenbaum Family Law Attorneys. Benita is a senior attorney with over 27 years' experience in Family Law, Divorce Law and Personal Law.
In an engaging conversation, Benita speaks about not only the real cost of divorce but also, in her experience, the main reasons once happily married couples find themselves detesting the sight of each other.
Benita also speaks about her experiences as a Family Law Attorney and puts to bed the misconceptions around ‘common law marriages’ in South Africa.
If you’re in a relationship with the aim of getting married, already married to the love of your life, or even single and looking, this is an important podcast. Click below to listen.
