Carol Ofori experienced an iconic moment with her five-year-old son this week when he lost his first tooth, and what was even more exciting was that he got to meet the tooth fairy!
This got us thinking: how much does the tooth fairy leave for these brave little people and what do you remember about the tooth fairy or tooth mouse (as Rory Petzer and Carol Ofori's mom refer to the mystical creature)?
So, according to Rory Petzer, in his hometown, he only knew of the tooth mouse and legend says that the mouse and the fairy have relations. I guess like the tales of Peter Pan, the truth remains in our childhood. Rory says that the tooth mouse would collect the tooth and build furniture out of the collected teeth.
