When do you take your tree down?

Christmas and the holidays are mostly about the feeling than the 'things' that come with the holidays. So when it is time to put up your Christmas tree, it's natural for the family to get excited.
When the malls have their Christmas decorations out, that's your indicator that you still have time...
Fast forward to almost the end of week one of the new year, and it's official, it is time to take down the tree.
"National Take Down the Christmas Tree Day provides the perfect end to the season. It’s the last of the 12 days of Christmas and encourages us to finally let go of the holidays, take down our trees, and usher in Epiphany." (National Today)
The history of Christmas trees goes back to the 1500s. Some have said that it goes back even earlier than that, and has become a vital part of the festive traditions. And as much as it is such a merry and cheerful part of Christmas, we wouldn't want you to take this into the rest of 2022, because then it loses its meaning and specialness.

As today marks 12 days since Christmas, it is the perfect opportunity to make taking down the Christmas tree fun for the family.
