Gratitude: The Oforis explore new places together in KZN
Updated | By East Coast Radio/ Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Carol and Greg Ofori painted the town red this weekend and we wanted to pay tribute to the new places they visited and the people they met.
Carol Ofori has made KZN her home for a number of years now. We feel like she has finally come into her own as a Durbanite.
We know her to be someone who takes on challenges with confidence, and since hubby Greg has joined her in our lovely province, they seem to be exploring our beautiful city one weekend at a time.
Last weekend, it was the ABSA Run Your City 10km and this weekend it was the opening of Signature Umhlanga.
She has been to Signature JHB, so it was a welcomed invitation to the opening of the luxury culinary experience at Ocean's Mall.

"Guided by founder Desmond Mabuza, a team of highly skilled chefs and sommeliers curate an exquisite symphony of flavours, meticulously crafted to excite and delight the most sophisticated of palates." (Signature Umhlanga)
Carol and Greg Ofori were joined by many socialites at the opening, including JoJo Robinson, Sorisha Naidoo, and Slee Ndlovu from RHOD. Vivian Reddy said a few words at the opening, considering it is in his mall - and even the Mayor made an appearance.
But that wasn't it for the weekend. The couple also attended the launch of Zintokazi Wines, which was held at the Alton Boutique Hotel.
Zintokazi Wines is a black female-owned company.
"Zintokazi is a Zulu word that means “Ladies”. For Zintokazi Wines, this represents ladies that hold values of compassion, relibility, eagerness, steadfastness and royalty in their own right and love for family." (Zintokazi)

It's so easy to become consumed in the day-to-day of our lives as parents. So, it is great to see the Oforis making time for each other.
And what better way than having a mix of social gatherings and celebrating people starting their ventures?
This week, we are grateful for more things to do in KZN
