Eva Mendes is one of the few actresses that really keeps a low profile.
Like, REALLY.
She is hardly ever photographed out, even when she's with her fellow actor husband Ryan Gosling.
She also tends to be quite private on social media.

So we are quite intrigued whenever we get the smallest glimpse into her life.
But never did we think we would be surprised with such an intimate look into her beauty routine.

And we have to admit, we considered maybe the possibility of seeing a make-up look or skincare routine, but never this!

Mendes shared the picture after visiting her favourite Beverly Hills-based esthetician, Mariana Vergara.
The treatment is said to tighten the jawline and is called "mono-threading", in case you would like to try it out.

Vergara reposted the picture on her own Instagram and explained the procedure a little bit more in the comments:

Eva also mentioned that she will update everyone if anyone cares.
