Carol Ofori shares her personal advice...
As we move into the second week of the new year. We can firmly say that if you haven't already, then it is certainly the best time to get up and address the issue of time.
So often we say, time flies or where has the time gone? But the truth is that time has always been the same, it is us who fail to manage our time better. And this is something that we want to encourage everyone to do this year, manage your time better...
We decided to get some valuable advice from the woman that always seems to do it so well, Carol Ofori. She started off by saying that she believes that managing your time better has a lot to do with the people who are with you and the people who are there to help you (your support system).
Carol Ofori has many roles to fulfil, from mother to businesswoman, so in order for her to get the best out of her time, she has delegated a budget to get the help that she requires. This way she can fulfil her roles.
One the greatest takeaways from her advice is that it is essentially the one thing that she practices that has a snowball effect on managing her time better. By not being afraid to ask for help, she can accomplish more in her time.
She puts a high importance on saying that you should never be apologetic, embarrassed or shy to ask for help. Those who want to help you will help you. Carol extended the list to family, friends, even colleagues, the worst they could say is 'No' and then you can always find another way.
