Bullied boy knocks on neighbour's door: "I need a friend"
Updated | By East Coast Radio/ Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
We sometimes don't realise how difficult it is to find good people and good friends.
Can you imagine your child feeling excluded and alone?
A young boy who has gone viral for having the courage to walk up to his neighbour's home and ask them for help is the true epitome of what being vulnerable is.
Brennan Ray shared a video from his doorbell camera showing tween, Shayden Walker, building up the courage to ask for help finding friends.
The video, which has over 66-million views, shows the young boy asking his neighbours if they knew any kids that are 11 or 12 years old.

Brennan Ray and his wife Angel decided to set up a GoFundMe account for Shayden.
"The couple decided to launch a GoFundMe for Walker to help him make friends. The money would go toward a gaming system, school clothes and maybe even some amusement park tickets." (New York Post)
Their initial goal was $7,000, but, of course, after watching the video people were so kind and the account was sitting at $37,000 (which is roughly R700,000).
They have turned off the donations but the money will remain in the account whilst the Rays coordinate with Shayden's family.
