WATCH: French Ref Romain Poite knocked out
Updated | By Sky Tshabalala
Infamous French referee Romain Poite was accidentally knocked down during a European Champions Cup match between Leinster and Wasps in Dublin.
A few minutes before full-time, Poite found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time and was bashed over by Leinster flank Rhys Ruddock.
Poite lay motionless on the ground for a moment but eventually got back on his feet and finished off the game.
Ruddock apologised for his mistake while Poite was apparently up and about in the dressing room after the game.
Some Springbok fans might say its karma after that decision Poite made between South Africa and New Zealand sending off Bismarck du Plessis, for what he said was a high and late tackle on Dan Carter.
