Ferguson praise for Moyes
Updated | By Andre Bloem
Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson, says the decision to hire David Moyes as his successor was unanimous.
Ferguson recommended Moyes for the job.
He says Moyes has both integrity and a strong work ethic.
Moyes agreed to a six-year deal and his contract will take effect on 1 July.
He spent the past 11 years at Everton.
Moyes, who is 50, only had an Everton contract until the end of the current season.
He replaced Walter Smith at Goodison Park in March 2002.
Moyes guided Everton to the FA Cup final in 2009.
