SANTACO KZN says commuter safety priority this Easter
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
SANTACO KZN says commuters who'll be travelling by taxi over this long Easter Weekend can rest assured that passenger safety is a priority.

During this time many will be on the roads and moving between provinces to either visit family or join in church gatherings.
SANTACO KZN's Boy Zondi says they've ensured the message of safety is driven home among their members and taxi operators and through Operation Hlokomela ambassadors who work alongside traffic law enforcement.
He says this was also evident through a safety operation held yesterday at Mooi River.
"Officials from the Department of Transport, Transport MEC and RTI among others where we were present during the operation to clamp down on unroadworthy vehicles", he said.
"We had a successful operation and we must thank taxi owners and drivers who continue to adhere to our call of road safety", Zondi said.
