Police are investigating Monday's deadly drive-by shooting along Duffs Road, north of Durban.

One of them died at the scene.
Mbele says the men are believed to be linked to crimes including murder.

"The other two were critically injured, but one later died while still at the scene. The third victim was also injured and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
"The police recovered three 9mm pistols. One of the deceased and the one who survived were wanted for murder and attempted murder cases in other stations. Although we suspect that it's taxi-related, we will also be investigating that," she says.
