Police investigate deadly M7 crash
Police are investigating cases of culpable homicide following this morning's deadly collision on the M7 westbound near Bellair.
Two police officers, a man and a woman from the Cato Manor Detective team, were killed when a container truck collided with their state car.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says they've so far established that their vehicle was hit by the truck, which failed to stop at a set of traffic lights.
"Both polices aged 37 and 40 died at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
