Man accused of Wentworth teen's murder to remain behind bars

A Wentworth teenager accused of the murder of 17-year-old Leyton Fynn is expected to apply for bail on Friday.
Eighteen-year-old Dondre Addison was arrested on Saturday, a few days after allegedly shooting and killing Fynn, who had been walking to winter holiday classes.

KZN police spokesperson Thenjiswa Ncgobo said he appeared at the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.
"Wentworth detectives worked tirelessly and arrested Addison on 1 July 2023. He was charged with murder and appeared before the Durban Magistrates Court on 3 July 2023.
"The suspect is remanded in custody, and he will appear at court again on 7 July 2023 for a formal bail application."
