There has been another arrest in the murder case of former ANC Youth League secretary-general Sindiso Magaqa.

The SAPS Political Task Team has re-arrested the former municipal manager of the Umzimkhulu Municipality.
National police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says the 55-year-old was nabbed in Malvern, south of Durban, on Monday.
" He was previously arrested in 2018, alongside the late mayor of the Umzimkhulu local municipality, a businessman, two former police officers, and a hitman.

"The suspect is expected to appear before the Umzimkhulu Magistrate Court on Tuesday on a charge of murder."
Magaqa was gunned down in Umzimkhulu in July 2017, after allegedly exposing corruption in the local municipality.
The hitman, Sbusiso Ncengwa, was convicted to 25 years imprisonment earlier this month.
