Car crashes into Chatsworth home, driver flees

A Chatsworth family has been left
shaken after a car ploughed into their home.

The car veered off the road in the early hours of Wednesday morning and then crashed into the property on Eric Phakathi Street.
It is not known what caused the crash, but it is understood the driver allegedly fled the scene.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said they went to assist at around 3:30 on Wednesday morning.

"Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the vehicle had three occupants in it. However, only one person had sustained moderate injuries.
"All patients were stabilised on scene by advanced life support paramedics before they were transported to a nearby hospital for the urgent care that they required."
