Three men who were arrested in connection with the killing of a municipal manager near Ladysmith are due to appear in court today.

Reginald Hlongwane and Mzwakhe Hlatshwayo both 32, and 30-year-old Scelo Dlamini, will face murder charges after Uthukela District's Sunatra Khumalo was shot and killed.
The police's Thulani Zwane says the suspects are alleged to be hitmen and were found in possession of two unlicensed firearms at the time of arrest.
"They were linked to the killing of the Indaka Municipality manager in July this year. It is alleged that the manager was driving his own vehicle when his was ambushed by the suspects. The provincial task team conducted the investigation which led to the arrest," he said.
