This classic is 18 years old!
Alicia Keys is celebrating the 18th year anniversary of her hit single with Usher. The pair released their number one hit, 'My Boo', in August 2004.
The single featured on the re-released version of Usher's 'Confessions' album. 'My Boo', which was co-written by Alicia and Usher, spent six weeks at number one in America.
Taking to Instagram this week, she encouraged her 24-million followers to duet with her. The 41-year-old played the song on her MPC and sang only her parts.

The song sparked dating rumours between the stars at the time, but the pair brushed off the claims.
Alicia has since found herself a boo of her own. She is married to rapper and producer, Swizz Beatz. The couple has two kids together, Egypt and Genesis.
Usher is currently dating Jenn Goicoechea. The pair welcomed their second child, Sire Castrello Raymond, in December last year.
Usher has two other children from a previous relationship.
Meanwhile, Alicia had an awkward encounter with a female fan. The woman forcibly kissed the Grammy Award winner on the cheek while she performed 'Empire State of Mind' at a show in Vancouver - on the same day of the 'My Boo' song's anniversary!
"Trust me, I was like what the F**K!!!!!!!! Don’t she know what time it is?" Alicia commented on a video showing the viral moment.
While some brushed off the incident as an overly excited fan, some thought it was highly inappropriate especially considering the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Y’all gotta start learning to respect people's space," one Instagram user commented.
Another added: "[She] did way too much. It’s too much s**t going on going around. Immediately no!"
