US singer slays in Gert-Johan Coetzee design

Singer Fantasia has been pictured rocking an outfit designed by Gert-Johan Coetzee. 

The former American Idol winner shared several pictures from a recent shoot she did. 

Celebrity stylist Daniel Hawkins selected an all-white bodysuit from the South African designer as one of the outfits for the shoot, which was shot in Los Angeles. 

Daniel has also worked with stars such as Porsha Stewart, Nene Leakes, Laura Govan, and Marlo Hampton. 

Neither Daniel or Fantasia, who won season three of Idol, have revealed what the shoot was for, but we are just happy to see local talent getting exposure abroad. 

It's not the first time one of Gert's designs has found its way to the USA. 

Reality star Kourtney Kardashian and Destiny's Child group member Kelly Rowland have also worn his designs. 

Gert is known for dressing Mzansi stars such as Bonang Matheba, Minnie Dlamini, Jeannie D, Pearl Thusi, Khanyi Mbau, and Enhle Mbali, to name a few. 

His red carpet designs usually end up on "best dressed" lists!
