University graduate thanks Boity for helping him succeed

A R500 e-wallet from Boity helped this university graduate when he needed it the most.
Not everyone is willing to part with their hard-earned money - especially on social media where scammers are lurking.
But South African media personality Boity Thulo took a chance on a university student and her kind gesture paid off. It all started in 2018 when a Twitter user named Siyamthanda Dondolo reached out to various people online for help with an urgent problem.
He was starting his exams in a week and he needed to buy a scientific calculator to help him study. The calculator he needed cost R366.95.
"I really need it. It's really difficult to prepare for these exams without it," he wrote, explaining that he had not received his book allowance yet.
Boity came to his rescue, offering to send him an e-wallet.

The 32-year-old rapper stuck to her word and sent him R500. He then sent proof that he bought the calculator.
"Thanks again @Boity for the eWallet. Here is proof of purchase. I will never forget what you've done for me and thank you for trusting me with your money, many didn't," Siya tweeted.

His brave move paid off and he graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2019.
"Hi @Boity, not sure if u still remember me. Your kind gesture a year ago is one of the things that made this day possible. I graduated this morning. Thanks again. #CPUTSummerGrad2019," Siya tweeted in December 2019.
Fast forward to April 2023, and Siya is now a 3x graduate. He still believes that he would not have made it this far if it were not for Boity's kindness.
"Update: I collected my 3rd qualification today. Things have been going well. Forever grateful @Boity," he tweeted on Wednesday.
To which Boity replied: "God bless you Siya! Congratulations and thank you so much for being such an incredible example!"

Failing that one exam in 2018 could have set back his journey as a student, but one act of kindness from Boity helped put him back on track.
I finally met her @Boity 😍❤
