The list aims to highlight those who have made an effort to help change the world and includes categories ranging from pioneers and artists to even icons.
Lupita Nyong'o, the 'Black Panther' actress and the woman who will play Trevor's mum in his biopic Born a Crime, had this to say about Trevor:
A fantastic storyteller, he has always been a defier of rules, which he broke simply by being born in his native country. At The Daily Show, which he has truly globalized, Trevor seeks out comedians of color in every possible venue, no matter how small. He is determined to find the best talent representing the most diverse viewpoints- Lupita Nyong'o
Congratulations, Trevor. We're so proud of you.
“.@TrevorNoah is always reaching out: across cultures, continents and boundaries. He makes us laugh with each other, and brings us that much closer to understanding one another,” writes @Lupita_Nyongo #TIME100 https://t.co/l7GRvLqzIx
