Trevor Noah won an MTV Movie & TV Award and dedicated it to his mother!
South African comedian Trevor Noah was honoured with the 'Best Host' award at the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Trevor faced stiff competition in the category, and beat popular talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres.
The award was presented to him by rapper Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart.
Trevor thanked his mother Patricia during his acceptance speech.
'The Daily Show' star praised her for being a "strong black woman" who inspired him every day of his life.

Trevor also thanked US President Donald Trump.
"Thank you Donald Trump for the comedy," he teased.
The awards were previously known as the MTV Movie Awards, but producers decided to add TV honours to the line-up and relaunched the ceremony.
This means Trevor is the first ever 'Best Host' winner!
